Robinsons had two of it's current players representing their countries in the 4 Nations Over 40's Tournament held in Dublin at Three Rock Rovers HC Aug 27th & 28th 2005; Dave Bull representing Wales and Rod Naughalty representing England. Both suffered a bad start losing their first games, Wales losing 4-0 to Ireland, England 2-1- to Scotland but both teams bounced backing the afternoon with Wales beating Scotland 4-1 and England enjoying a 4-3 thriller beating Ireland in what was said to be the best International match of this age category. On Sunday, one game left each and all countries with a chance to win the title. With Scotland beating Ireland who had run out of steam it left our 2 representatives to fight it out against each other - England v Wales. To top it all Dave and Rod were also placed to mark each other. But it was Rod and England who came up trumps, Dave Bull getting no change from Rod's play and England running out 3-1 winners. England shared the trophy with Scotland although they had a superior Goal difference.
