Whilst Robbies Masters play Westbury Masters in the HA Masters Cup 14.00 at Badminton School.

EHB Mens Masters Cup

Congratulations to the Robinsons Masters beating Isca Masters (3-2) in a hard fought and very, very competitive game. The next round in early December will be a truly local derby as the competition is Westbury & United Banks. Roll on Round 3.

England Over 50's Intenational Masters

Congratulations to the England over 50's and Robbies representative Rod Naughalty.

Having won the European Masters Tournament in Germany in August, England over 50's were quietly confident that they could retain the International Masters Trophy won in Hong Kong in 2009. With a strengthened side, but still not full strength, this was duly achieved!

Winning their Group with wins over Austria, Malaysia & New Zealand an equatorial rainstorm shortened a simple quarter final against Korea leading to a tough, but still comfortable win over Scotland in the Semi's.

This meant meeting Australia in the Final. An error in defence by the England keeper (so Roddy says) gave the Aussies a 1-0 lead at half time, but it was only time before England supremacy shone through ending with a 2-1 win, even Aussies admitted it was a deserved victory!

Roddy's medal cabinet is now almost as big as he is.

Indoor Hockey Season

With the indoor hockey season fast approaching the committee have been deciding on how best to approach it this season, this year the emphasis will be put on the indoor team regaining National League Status. Therefore firstly an open to all selection training session will be held on the 8th November 2011, which all club members are welcomed to attend.

Following this an indoor training squad will be selected and from this a final squad will be selected to compete at the West Indoor Finals on Sunday 11th December.

Below is a timetable of the indoor season which also lists venues and times, if you would like to attend the first open selection session then please email Minwaz at adam.davies@hotmail.co.uk to confirm your attendance
